UPDATE: In order to offer these workshops to as many rangatahi as possible, Maui & the Movement will be travelling to schools from Kaitaia to Wellington throughout June - July.
BRING US TO YOUR SCHOOL!
We are in search of schools to visit and offer a FREE 1hour training workshop (depending on your availability, the workshops can be extended to 2hours).
In these workshops, participants will learn valuable leadership skills through a lesson, activities, and reflections. Furthermore, time permitting, students will be offered advice on networking, scholarships, and leadership in practice.
These sessions are predominantly directed towards youth aged 16-20. However, if you believe that a student out of this age bracket would benefit from this leadership training, you are more than welcome to recommend them.
Although it is preferable that a teacher endorse these lessons by offering their class time to these sessions, we understand that this may not necessarily be feasible. Therefore, these sessions can be done during lunch hours, study blocks, or after-school if there is interest from a number of students.
